We're here to make your college experience better. It's that simple.

The Iowa State University Student Government was founded in 1904 to provide service to, advocacy for, and the empowerment of all students. Since then, Student Government has proudly worked alongside university administration and other key partners to better the college experience for both undergraduate and graduate students. From our part in founding the Memorial Union after World War II, to launching the precursor to the modern-day honors program, to installing the many solar trash and recycling compactors across campus, we strive to leave a tangable and long-lasting legacy on campus.
