Leading with vision, the President and Vice President ensure Student Government serves the will of its students.
The executive branch is comprised of the president, vice president, and their executive cabinet. Every spring, the student body duly elects their student body president and vice president in Student Government's university-wide elections. Candidates work tirelessly to connect with students during the month-long campaign season, and, when elected, the winning slate will spend the following academic year executing their campaign promises. This intensive process ensures that Student Government remains responsive to the needs and desires of the student body. To support their endeavors, the new administration installs an executive cabinet in which each member specializes in an important aspect of campus life. Together, the president, vice president, and executive cabinet lead committees and task forces, launch major projects and initatives, and may veto actions of the legislative branch.
