From the annual Student Government Expo to the Know your Leaders Town Hall Series, the Events Committee knows how to make things happen.
The Events Committee is comprised of senators and at-large members who organize and execute key events. Because Student Government strives to be a student-facing organization, public events are essential to our core mission of serving students. The Expo, for instance, is Student Government's signature event; it allows students to directly meet with their representatives while enjoying free food and games. Members of this committee gain valuable skills in leadership, event planning, and project management as they creatively reimagine how Student Government hosts its large-scale events.
